KeymasterYou might be finding that, while typing your posts is straightforward, the formatting is a bit more obscure.
At the top of the text box, you’ll see a row of buttons:
These are the most frequently useful ones to start you off:
b = bold. Highlight text and hit ‘b’ and it will be made bold.
i = italic. Highlight text and hit ‘i’ and it will be made italic.
link = add a hyperlink to text. Highlight text and hit ‘link’, enter the URL (web address) and people will be able to click on the text in your post and go straight to the relevant webpage.
b-quote = Block quote. Highlighting text and hitting this button
“will do this to to your text”
img = link an image or video. You need to have the URL (web address) for the item in question – you can’t upload something from your computer.

KeymasterThe others are:
del = This does
thisto your textul = This does
-
this
to your text
ol = This does
-
this
to your text
Close tags are for other html codes. You’ll see with all of these, they add the formatting by putting text in pointy brackets and pointy brackets with / after.
If you add the wrong format, you can remove it by removing the text inside the pointy brackets the pointy brackets themselves.You can learn other codes here.
