Towards a
Sane Economy

Christianity in general, and Catholic Christianity in particular, has more to say than you might think about economics.

There is an intimate relationship between the various dimensions of human life.  Capitalist economies and the natural world are bound up together.  Personal profit and social justice are bound up together.  For hundreds of years, and especially since the industrial revolution of the 18th and 19th centuries, the Catholic church has recognised both the potential and risk of this relationship, and has sought to guide Christians towards fairness and success in human labour and the economy.

The project is closely associated with Second Spring, an international journal of Faith and Culture, edited in Oxford and published by The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, NH.
